I have a project for this week.
Yes. Mark went to Yellowstone for an entire week without Lauren and I. (Just needed to get that out there in the open.)

Now, before you say, "awww," let me let you in on a little secret.
Alone-time is awesome when you have a little project around the house to do.
Yes, Mark will be missed, especially those days when I need a little support with Lauren; but he will be back, and my project will get done without any complaints.

So, what is my little project you ask? Well, I would show you, but he took our camera with him.
Our master bedroom, bathroom and closet have been lovingly nicknamed "the room of doom."
Let me paint the picture for you:
As you walk into our room, you will first notice a queen sized bed with a king sized headboard resting behind it, (yes, we bought a new bed frame, but not mattresses, yet.) Then you might notice the two new nightstands. Don't look too closely though, because they are still empty. The contents are in boxes piled in our room. Dirty clothes and socks have stacked up at the end of the bed, ready to be washed and sorted and ironed. In another corner sits Lauren's old walker (no place to store it,) with blankets and other junk from our guest bedroom's closet. The bathroom is housing all of the items from our closet that need to be organized. I took them out today, prepared to vacuum, then Lauren woke up from her nap. So, they are all still sitting where I left them, untouched; unorganized.
I did, however, go to Wal-Mart and bought some organization stuff for the closet. After looking longingly at the Container Store website, I decided Wal-Mart was more budget-friendly. (Mark will be happy with that one.)

On a much more fun note, I don't have any pictures to post because, well, Mark took my camera to Yellowstone. BUT, Lauren has grown into quite a little lady. She says the cutest things now and knows most common animal noises: monkey, kitty, puppy, donkey, wiggles her nose like a rabbit, owl, birds.. the list goes on. I need to figure out our video camera one of these days, but that is a future project that Mark will need to be here for.
