Okay, in San Antonio, they have made drive-thru's in some of our Sonic's. (I say this because I don't know if they are doing it to all Sonic's.)
Well, here lies my latest pet peeve. You would think that people would want to use the drive-thru for "fast purchases;" i.e. drinks, instead of having to park for a drink. Well, today I got in the drive-thru line for 1 drink.... 1 drink. It took 10 minutes! (Which, if I would have parked, I would have expected.) But, the car in front of me ordered a WHOLE BUNCH OF FOOD. Instead of parking and ordering, knowing it would take a while, they went through the drive-thru. Now, I thought they would just go past that car and bring me the drink... Normally I would not complain, but the drink was not for me and I had to have it to the person before a meeting... and I was a little irritated already because I had lunch with Lauren at Chili's and she was a mess....BUT, they did not, so I waited and waited and waited and waited. (Not so patiently at all)
So, my plea... If you are going to order food at an already drive-up fast food place, please do not back up the drive-thru lane for people who are just ordering something fast.
Hahaha... the end!

You would have hated me the other day then...I take 20 girls to Six Flags for a Women's day away and decide to stop at Starbuck's in Eastland (half-way point). In my head I'm thinking this should be fast, just go through the drive through say coffee, hot chocolate, etc. OH...should I say, I'm not a coffee drinker? We were there at least 15-20 minutes it seemed and the cars were backed up for miles. I learned very quickly that there are a hundred different ways to say coffee, hot chocolate, etc. We ended up paying for the person behind us as an apology, but I'll never do that again!!!
that happened to me at the one in waco, the drive thru should be for singular items ONLY, anything else should be required to be purchased at a station
