It has almost been a month since I last updated... and well, not much is going on.

Caleb is now a hefty 15 pounds 8 oz. He has gained 9 pounds since birth! Boy oh boy!! He is getting too long for his 3-6 month clothes and pretty soon will be wearing 6-12 months. My little guy is just growing way too fast.

Lou is also growing.. she is wearing now in 3T pants for the length, but really wears 2T for the waist. She wears 4T dresses because she is also a tall little girl. Where do these children get their length? By no means are Mark and I tall.. in fact, we are average. Very average. Her new favorite things are the Disney Princesses. She used to just be into Arial, but not anymore. She know Mulan, Jasmine, Sleeping Beauty, Belle, Cinderella, and Snow White.. she can pick them out anywhere. Guess we all know what she will be getting for Christmas! :)
She is still doing great with sweet baby Caleb. She amazes me with her vocabulary and sentences these days. She is talking like a little adult now, just out of nowhere. In fact, we are teaching her names right now, and she is Lauren Adelay, Daddy is "Mark Stephen," Caleb is "baby Caleb," and Mommy is "Mommy." She won't say my name. She is a little pistol.

Since our trip to the church's pumpkin patch, we went on a vacation to Colorado: Denver, Colorado Springs, Boulder and Estes Park. We were in Estes Park the day of the downtown fire- if you heard about it. This was the first trip that I can remember where neither of the kids got sick. It was great. Lauren Lou sat in her plane seat without her car seat, and she did great. Just a little bit of bribery and she didn't move the whole time. (Mark's iPhone is a great bribe, as well as Color Wonder from Crayola, and any of her favorite snack foods.) This worked both ways. Caleb also did great, not a peep from him. On the day we left, we woke up to snow. Beautiful. In fact, while we were in Colorado, they had record highs. Pretty funny! We saw lots of elk, deer, and chipmunks. We even ran into a mountain mouse up in the rockies! Lou loved that.

After we recuperated from our trip, we had all of friends, with and without kids, over for Halloween. It is so much fun to get them all together, all dressed up, take pictures and then trick-or-treat. We had a good time eating.. we ordered 10 pizzas and only at 4... out of like 25 people.. silly us, over-ordering like that.

It has been semi-quiet since then. Lou has a cold right now. I am heading to Girl's Weekend next weekend, and then our friend, Audra, is getting married the weekend after that.. So, we are pretty much gone every weekend now in November.. always back for Sunday though! December will be hectic also, but more of a Holiday-hectic, then a crazy-hectic. We are also geering up for "The Year of Weddings," in 2010. I think we have like 10-15 already.

You know, since I don't post often.. I update most of the time, and feel like I am sending a Christmas letter each time. HA! Well, maybe I will post more often. Something more fun.
I need a schedule of postings, ramblings, especially since all of my thoughts sound more clever and witty in my head than written out.

Pray for the soldiers and their families from Fort Hood this week.
