Yes, I am horrible at blogging.
No, I have no excuses.

In my very own biased opinion, (of course, right?,) I want to share some of my little girl's humor with you.

1. Ever since Mark shared his "Mommy" story at church, Lauren will now refer to me as "Daddy." But only when she is in her silly calling Mark Mommy mood.

2. She makes you look like an idiot in front of people, and then as soon as they turn their back, she does what you ask her too, quietly and inconspicuously. Example: She is learning how to move her eyebrows up and down. Ask her to do it for you, and she looks at you with that sassy face that just says, "excuse me, I am not here for your entertainment." But, as soon as you turn your back, she will do it! She is too hilarious!

3. She sits completely naked on her "big-girl potty chair," backwards. The first time she sat on it without a diaper, mind you, Mark and I were both in there. Mark told her to "push-out her pee-pee" and she started pushing her belly button. Nothing happened.

4. When you try to bribe her with chocolate to finish her food, she quickly clears her plate by placing all the food on the table, then says "finished." She will look at you with the cutest smile, and say "chocolate please."

(And yes, we bribe her with chocolate to also take medicine... it works.)

5. When she really, really enjoys eating something, she says "mmm..mm.. mm" while chewing, and then "delicious" when finished.

6. If you ask her what her baby brother's name is/will be, you will most likely get, "baby sister."

I am amazed at how my two year old is growing. Her sense of humor and her personality cracks me up, because she is an animated little thing. (That is, you have to be around her for more than 30 minutes to even get a glimpse most times.) It will be very interesting to continue to watch her personality grow, and to compare it with our little boy's.
