I can't wait until June when we get to go to the coast and to Chicago to get out of this heat.

The fall cannot come fast enough!!!


Lauren's hair is now long enough for pig-tails. I can't believe it!!! After a couple trial-runs.. here are her pig-tails! Now, this whole girl-hair-thing is going to be hard for me to learn as Lauren grows. (Other than being able to french braid, I am not best with girls' hair.) It stems from when I was little, anytime my mom or sister would do my hair, well, it got CHOPPED OFF.. All of it, all the time. I grew up with thick short hair and looked like a boy sometimes. BUT, I am trying to do Lauren's hair better.



Mark and I are in the midst of needing discernment for some things in our life right now.
I think all of the options are positive and glorify God, it is just getting to the conclusion that can be.. well, just waiting with patience. There is some paperwork we need to finish, and that will give some clarification to this process. All in all, we are leaning and trusting in God throughout.
